FIP Realty Services, LLC is proud to announce its representation of the Miami Rescue Mission in the Wynwood area of Miami.
The Miami Rescue Mission has been serving the homeless in Miami since 1922. In Wynwood, the organization currently provides services for men, women and children, as well as a medical facility and a Bargain Barn thrift store.
“The decision to sell a portion of their properties was made recently, prompted by the tremendous interest the Wynwood area has seen over the past year,” commented Dave Colonna of FIP Realty.
The Rescue Mission will continue to provide services in the area, marketing for sale about one-third of their current real estate holdings. The properties being offered for sale total just under two acres of land and over 43,000 square feet of buildings.
According to Rev. Ron Brummitt, President of Miami Rescue Mission, the proceeds from any sale will be used to expand the Mission’s services throughout Miami-Dade and Broward Counties as well as provide for capital improvements in the three facilities it currently operates.
“Our mission is to serve the homeless and needy of our communities with the love of God,” stated Rev. Brummitt. “The proceeds from the sale of our properties will allow us to serve more people, expand services in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, and secure the future of the Mission.”
